Why the Change?
We’re excited to announce that SRAR/SSAR is rebranding to the Self-reported Transcript and Academic Record System (STARS) starting August 1, 2025. This change reflects valuable feedback from students, school counselors, and colleges while also marking a major milestone—the launch of our AI-powered OCR feature, which helps you fill out your academic record even faster.
What’s Different?
While the name is changing, the core functionality remains the same. STARS will continue to allow students to enter, manage, and submit their academic records to multiple colleges. The new branding better represents the evolving capabilities of our platform, including advancements in data extraction and automation.
What This Means for You
-
No action is required—your accounts, submitted records, and data will remain exactly the same.
-
You will start seeing the STARS name and logo across our website, communications, and support resources.
-
The transition will not affect any in-progress or submitted records.
