You must first apply to the university and set up your access to the AIS system by creating a NetID and password. Texas A&M University (TAMU) will send you instructions for creating your NetID within 2 to 4 business days after receiving your application. Please check your email, including your Spam and Junk Mail folders, for your University Identification Number (UIN) and NetID. If you need assistance in obtaining your UIN-NetID, please contact the Office of Admissions via email at admissions@tamu.edu or by phone at 979-845-1060.
Once you gain access to AIS:
- Log in and navigate to the "Documents Required for Admission" checklist.
Note: If you encounter an error stating that your ID and date of birth do not match when attempting to log into the applicant portal, please wait an additional 24 hours and try again. - Under the checklist of required documents, click the "SELF-REPORTED ACADEMIC RECORD" link. This will take you to the SRAR website.
Note: It can take 2-4 days for certain checklist items, such as the SRAR link, to appear in AIS. For international freshman applicants, the process may take longer due to additional steps in application processing. Be sure to check your AIS portal periodically for the SRAR link. - Login with your SRAR credentials (email address and password) to complete the linking process.
